The US Army on December 31 launched an intense attack on at least 4 Houthi boats in the Red Sea and sunk at least 3 boats. US destroys three Houthi rebel ships in the Red Sea

The US has destroyed three Houthi rebel ships operating in the Red Sea area.

The Houthis are an Iranian-backed military and have been disrupting trading routes since Hamas committed a string of terror attacks on October 7.

The US killed at least ten Houthi fighters and sank three small boats as the rebels attempted to attack a cargo ship twice in 24 hours.

Some of the world's biggest shipping companies are now avoiding the route all together.

Iran, which backs the Houthi rebels, has blamed the UK and the US for the rising regional tension.

Trudeau slams Rebel News: “I won’t call it a media organization”

During Thursday night’s federal election leaders debate, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau was asked a question by Rebel News, who were allowed to participate in the event following a federal court ruling, whether his government stands by their decision to not give them accreditation for the debate.

Trudeau said accreditation is done by the press gallery and by a consortium of networks with “strong perspectives on quality journalism.”

Trudeau went on to say that “organizations like yours that continue to spread disinformation and misinformation about vaccines, around how we’re actually going to get through this pandemic,” adding “I won’t call it a media organization – your group of individuals need to take accountability for some of the polarization that we’re seeing in this country.”

There was perversity in the pool at the East Bayfield Community Centre in Barrie, Ont., last weekend. This was the venue for the Trojan Cup swimming competition. And guess who dropped by for a dip in the pool? That would be none other than Nicholas Cepeda, a.k.a., “Melody Wiseheart”. We first got wind of Cepeda back in October when he competed at a swim meet in Markham, Ont. We were tipped off by concerned parents that this 50-year-old biological man prefers to compete with teenage girls, some as young as 13! And incredibly, everyone from the Barrie Trojans Swim Club to Swim Ontario to Swim Canada seem to be perfectly fine with this gender-bending grifter breaking the rules.

Herman Andaya, the administrator for Maui’s emergency management agency, has resigned following the devastating wildfires that have left more than 100 people dead. Citing health reasons, the move comes amid increased scrutiny over his qualifications and the decision to not sound emergency sirens as the fire broke out. NBC’s Miguel Almaguer reports for TODAY.
